Meditations

These are small, quiet meditation gatherings for residents to sit together in presence and stillness. The sessions are simple and grounded—no experience is required, and nothing needs to be achieved. We’ll begin with a brief orientation, sit in silent meditation, and close gently. This is not therapy or a religious practice, but a shared space to slow down, listen inward, and reconnect with what’s already here. Cushions are provided, chairs are welcome, and all are invited to participate at their own pace.

What to Expect

Each session is held in a small group (up to six people) and follows a simple, consistent structure. We’ll begin with a brief arrival and grounding, followed by a period of silent meditation, and then a gentle closing. Two session lengths are offered: a 30-minute sit for ease and accessibility, and a 45-minute sit for deeper settling and integration.

These sessions are not instructional or performance-based. You do not need prior meditation experience, special clothing, or the ability to “clear your mind.” Cushions are provided, chairs are welcome, and you are encouraged to listen to your own body and participate at your own pace.

This is a meditation space, not group therapy. Sharing, if offered, is optional and brief, and there is no advice-giving or fixing. The intention is simply to create a safe, steady container for presence, stillness, and connection.

Sessions are offered on a sliding-scale or donation basis to keep the space accessible.
